Things you need
• passport
• if the patient is under 18: birth certificate (or passport, if the patient is more than 14 y.o.) and one parent’s (official child’s representative’s) passport
• extracts from the previous examinations
• medical supplies and eye drops in their original package, if you use them
• glasses and contact lenses, if you wear them
• sunglasses (after laser vision correction)
Pay attention! Soft lenses have to be taken off 3 days before the appointment. Rigid and night lenses have to be taken off 2 weeks before the appointment. Glasses have to be worn during this period.

Diagnostic procedure
Our staff member will meet and accompany you to reception for paperwork and having the ophthalmic diagnostic examination. After receiving your data, they will bring you to private consultation with doctor, where the diagnosis will be given and the following treatment will be planned. Please note that diagnostic examination and doctor’s consultation in our clinic take you about 3 hours.

- Detailed CBC, blood coagulation time, duration of bleeding – 10 days
- Sugar blood test – 14 days
- Hepatitis B and C markers blood test - HBS, HCV - 21 days
- HIV testing – 6 months
- Syphilis TP EIA (for patients older than 15 y.o.) – 21 days
- Urinalysis – 10 days
- Stool test for helminth eggs – 3 months
- Scraping for enterobiasis (for children) – 14 days
- Bacteriological coliform stool test (for children under 3 y.o.) – 7 days
- ECG – 14 days
- Chest photofluorography (for patients older than 14 y.o.) – 1 year
- Pediatrician’s report (for children) – 14-30 days
- Therapist’s report (for adults). If there are any concomitant diseases, you will need the reports from specialists in these pathologies (cardiologist, endocrinologist, neurologist etc.) – 14-30 days
- Dentist’s report, ENT specialist’s report – 14-30 days
- 1Certificate of absence of infection during 21 days (for children) – 72 hours
- Vaccination records (for children under 14 y.o.) – indefinite

Accommodation conditions
During examination period, treatment or post-surgery treatment you can stay at our hospital situated on the territory of The S.Fedorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution.
